The chicken or the egg...
Alex (to Cal): "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" Cal: "The chicken, a course--cause if the egg had come first, who would have sat on it to make it warm enough to hatch?" Alex: "Good point."
Hilarious! What smart children you have! :) Love 'em to death. Adam and I were just talking tonight about how astute Alex was when she first drew a picture of Adam - scruffy face and all. We still have that picture, by the way.
